About facials at Izba Spa
Izba Spa is a Dermalogica Expert salon, which means facials start with a Face Mapping skin analysis rather than a fixed menu. A 30 minute express facial cleanses, exfoliates and masks — good maintenance between longer treatments. The 60 minute prescriptive facial is built for your skin on the day, combining active serums and masks for age-defying, brightening, hydrating, calming or pore-refining outcomes.
Beyond traditional facials, technology-led options target specific concerns. Hydrafacial cleanses, exfoliates, extracts and hydrates in one pass with no downtime. Dermaplaning removes dead skin and vellus hair for a smoother make-up finish. Carbon peel uses a carbon mask and laser to deep-clean congested, oily skin. RF microneedling stimulates collagen for texture, scarring and fine lines, and needs three to four sessions spaced a month apart. LED therapy adds on to any facial — red for collagen and healing, blue for acne bacteria.
Who it suits
Congested and acne-prone skin, dullness and uneven tone, early fine lines, and anyone who has never had their skin properly analysed before buying products for it.
What to expect after
Skin can look flushed for a few hours after active treatments, and for 24 to 48 hours after microneedling. Skip make-up, the gym and hot showers that day, use SPF daily afterwards, and pause retinol and acids for a few days around resurfacing treatments.
Facials prices
Prices shown are the current Izba Spa price list and apply at both the South Wimbledon and Worcester Park salons. Treatment availability can vary between branches — confirm when you book. Courses are paid in advance.
Facials questions
How much is a facial at Izba Spa?
A 30 minute express facial is £40 and a 60 minute prescriptive facial is £70. Hydrafacial is £110, dermaplaning is £95 and RF microneedling is £160.
How often should I have a facial?
Every four to six weeks matches the skin's renewal cycle. Course-based treatments such as RF microneedling are spaced a month apart over three to four sessions.
What is the difference between a Hydrafacial and a prescriptive facial?
A Hydrafacial is a device-led treatment combining cleansing, exfoliation, extraction and hydration in one pass. A prescriptive facial is hands-on and built around active serums and masks chosen for your skin that day.
Which facial is best for acne?
Carbon peel and blue LED therapy target oil and acne bacteria directly; acne laser treatment is available for more persistent cases.
