A patch test is carried out at least 48 hours before the first session to confirm settings for your skin. Most clients see meaningful reduction by session three and are into maintenance — one or two top-ups a year — after a full course.

What to expect after

Skin is warm and pink for a few hours, similar to mild sunburn. Avoid sun, sunbeds, saunas, hot baths and heavy exercise for 48 hours, use SPF 50 on exposed treated areas throughout the course, and shave rather than wax between sessions.
