Massage in Wimbledon & Worcester Park
Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, sports and pregnancy massage — 30, 60 and 90 minute appointments with therapists carrying 16+ years of experience.

About massage at Izba Spa
Choose by pressure and purpose. Swedish massage uses long flowing strokes to move blood and calm the nervous system, and is the right choice if the aim is to unwind. Deep tissue works slowly through specific muscle layers and adhesions and is what to book for a shoulder that has been tight for months. Hot stone combines heat and pressure to release muscle faster than hands alone, which suits cold weather and stubborn backs. Sports massage is targeted work around training load and recovery.
A 30 minute appointment covers back, neck and shoulders — enough for desk tension. Sixty minutes covers full body properly. Ninety minutes allows full body plus concentrated work on a problem area. Your therapist will check pressure early and adjust; deep tissue should feel intense but never sharp, and anything that makes you brace is too much.
Who it suits
Desk workers with neck and shoulder tension, runners and gym members managing training load, and anyone whose sleep has gone thin from stress.
What to expect after
Drink water, keep the rest of the day gentle, and expect some next-day tenderness after deep tissue — similar to post-training soreness, and gone within 48 hours. A warm bath helps.

Massage questions
How much is a 60 minute massage?
A 60 minute Swedish massage is £65 at Izba Spa. A 30 minute back, neck and shoulder massage is available at a lower price on the price list.
What is the difference between Swedish and deep tissue massage?
Swedish uses lighter flowing pressure to relax; deep tissue works slowly and firmly into specific muscle layers to release long-standing tightness.
Do you offer pregnancy massage?
Yes, with appropriate positioning and support, from the second trimester onward.
