RF microneedling combines two mechanisms. Fine needles create controlled micro-channels that trigger the skin's repair response, and radiofrequency energy delivered at depth through those needles heats the dermis to tighten existing collagen and stimulate new production. It is the most effective non-surgical option on the treatment list for acne scarring, enlarged pores and crepey texture.

Three to four sessions a month apart is the protocol, because collagen remodelling takes roughly 12 weeks per cycle and results build across the course rather than appearing after one. Numbing cream is applied for 30 minutes beforehand. Expect skin to look flushed and feel tight for 24 to 48 hours, with mild pinpoint marking that settles within a few days. Retinol and acids pause for a week either side, and SPF is non-negotiable throughout.
